In 1969, Bowmanville Health Centre opened at 222 King Street East as a single building. Before too long, demand necessitated adding second and third floors. It grew again in 2006 with the addition of the south wing (then known as the west wing) to the original structure. Finally, today’s west wing was built and opened in 2016. West, south, and east wings unite on the ground floor, with independent elevators and stairs. The east wing is the only one with a “lower level.”
Bowmanville Health Centre comprises 39 family physicians, 14 specialists, and 19 associated services. All doctor’s offices and services operate independently but provide a broad umbrella of services for your complete care and wellbeing.
There have been many changes over the years. Still, one thing remains consistently the same: the service providers, physicians, medical, and administrative staff who work here are all committed to delivering the best possible care to anyone and everyone who enters our doors.
