Dr. Andrews practices Physiatry (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation).
She completed her medical degree at McMaster University and residency at the University of Ottawa, developing an interest in electrodiagnosis (EMG) and peripheral nerve injury, completing additional training through the Ottawa Peripheral Nerve Trauma Clinic.
The scope of Dr. Andrew’s practice includes the diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of neurologic and musculoskeletal (MSK) disorders with a focus on:
• EMG testing for peripheral nerve pathology (carpal tunnel, ulnar neuropathy, brachial plexopathy, radiculopathy, polyneuropathy, etc.)
• Spasticity management, including Botox injections for stroke and other CNS conditions
• Upper and lower limb MSK injuries (hip OA, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, trigger finger, etc.), including ultrasound-guided injections
Her MSK practice will not include axial or generalized pain management.
